Back by popular demand, we are organising our charity Swimathon which will take place on 29 September from 5pm-7.30pm at Hampton Open Air Pool in Hampton.
We are looking for swimmers of all abilities and ages to participate and take on a new exciting challenge which is outlined below.
The challenge is: Find out how far you can swim down the train line between Kingston and Waterloo station (in your local pool)?
You can find out how far you can swim by pinpointing it on a large map of the Waterloo train line afterwards. Swim from Richmond station to Mortlake station to find out you have swam 3 km or 2km which is from Vauxhall station to Waterloo station.
Swimmers will raise money for Crossway Pregnancy Crisis Centre and can opt to swim for one or two hours. Every penny raised will be put to good use to ensure people can find and receive help at a time when they are very vulnerable.
Barbecue and drinks will be available for all attendees
ENTRY FEES: £10 per adult / £5 per child
Fee includes: Free T-shirt, barbecue and drinks
